A Change We Need

The Voice our Families Deserve

Nathan Rust Smile

Our schools in District 6 are overcrowded and fraught with violence, disruption, and an exodus of quality teachers. After 20 years of Board Tenure, how is this the best public education offered to our children? I’m faced with tough choices ahead when my son starts Middle School. Every parent in our district faces the same tough choices, and many resort to spending their hard-earned money on private schools because they have no better option.

It is time to raise the bar for our public servants, our school board, and our school system. As parents and citizens, we cannot accept mismanagement, corruption, and failed leadership any longer. Families deserve a passionate advocate and partner in their children’s education, engaged in our schools & attentive to what our children need to succeed.

As a business owner, and as a Civic Leader, I have proven my abilities as a Strong Fiduciary, Leader, and Relationship-Builder. I will seek to build bridges across the divides that have been set in our school board, bringing together the people we need to make the tough choices ahead.
